the woolite rug stick?

I’ve got brand new carpet, well it’s been like 3 months now. We couldn’t afford the top of the line carpet, but didn’t get the cheapest we could find either. In high traffic areas it’s already began to matt down. I’m just disgusted with this. I vacuum regularly and put the vacuum on the lowest setting, but it doesn’t do much good. So I’m wondering if the new woolite rug stick will help with that?
Has anyone used it?? It’s not dirty, just walked down, if you know what I mean. I’m really upset about this, because I want my carpet to stay nice!
Any advice other then the rugstick would be much appreciated as well! thank you!

Don’t add product, that’ll just weigh down the fibers even more, contributing to the matted look. Instead, try a carpet rake
